Rubber Extrusion Tolerances ISO 3302-1
Like all production parts Silicone rubber extrusions are produced within industry accepted tolerances levels to compensate for variations from batch to batch of rubber.
Silicone rubber extrusion tolerances covered by standard ISO 3302-1 (replaces BS3734) which is what we work to. Within these Silicone rubber extrusion tolerances there are 3 levels, from E1 (which are the tightest) to E3 being the widest.
Wherever possible we will aim to exceed level E1 Silicone rubber extrusion tolerances, but unless agreed independently in writing will be working between E1 to E3
Adpol has a very good reputation for holding tight Silicone rubber extrusion tolerances and producing complex profiles. If you have a specific requirement please speak to us first and we will try and work with you to manufacture the product you need.
