We have a great deal of experience in the Aerospace industry, and manufacture to AS9100, a highly regarded Aerospace manufacturing standard. The compounds we use meet ABD0031 (Airbus) UL94V0 (Vertial self extinguishing) and FAR & JAR25.853(b) for aircraft interior use. We offer full tracibility and certification including FAIR’s if required
Flame retardant seals are also used extensively on mass transit (rail/tram/bus) vehicles and stations and our compounds also meet a number of recognised standards that are required here, BS6853, AFNOR, NF F 16.101 and EN45 545 for rail systems.
We can supply flame retardant compound as uncured strips for customers to wrap around products and oven cure themselves, and have the facilities to blend in other specialist rubber grades to give chemical resistance.
