Adpol have been manufacturing and supplying seals, gaskets, sheet, tubing and extruded profiles to the Aerospace and Aircraft Interior sector (civil and military) since 1974.
We are one of the few AS9100 accredited rubber manufacturers operating in the UK and work with compounds that meet flammability, smoke and toxicity standards ADB 0031, FAR – JAR 25.83, UL94 V0 and a range of DTD grade standards. We are able to offer different hardness’s and colours, with exact colour matching available on request.
We work closely with seal designers to help develop the perfect aerospace seals and gaskets for your application, often working with the components the seal needs to fit onto, and making visits to customers site and supplying free samples of different seal types to help decide a design route. Typically a new die and sample takes 2 – 3 weeks and costs IRO £250.
Aerospace seals and gaskets can be supplied as extruded lengths, and cut and joined into O Ring or picture frame gaskets on presses with colour matched adhesives.
Adpol can mould products in house in these material grades including rubber to metal composite parts. We can also assist with supply of sponge or reinforced rubber materials and adhesives to meet required standards in this sector.
